Hailee's Dance Costume!

Hailee had dance pictures yesterday so we got all dressed in her costume. I don't know why the teacher picked white for 4 and 5 year olds. We made it to the studio with no white and dirt mixing so that was good. She dances to Butterfly kisses for Ballet and has a butterfly that goes with the costume. For tap she wears angel wings and a halo. Her recital is April 25th at the Civic Auditorium and then we get a break from running on Tuesdays a bit. I look forward to summer because there is less running around. She does take swimming lessons for a month basically at the Shelley Pool and will do vacation Bible School for a week at Calvary Chapel. Then school starts in mid August!

Hailee's Cake

Hailee turned 5 on March 10th. We had her party the weekend before. It was a lot of fun and she really enjoyed herself. She wanted a Barbie themed bash! We decorated the basement and set up tables and chairs and put balloons up. We played put the kiss on the frog which the kids enjoyed. We also had a pinata. She had her three girlfriends there and they ran all over the place. She got a lot of nice gifts and had a great day. Her two girlfriends got to stay after the party and play for the rest of the day. She wore a pink party dress and got a manicure and pedicure by spa mom!

Somethings I love about Hailee:

• She is so sweet and loving.
• She is always singing something and loves music.
• She is a girly girl and wants to do stuff like mommy! We love to cook together!
• She is adventureous and wants to try new things.
• She is so smart and creative. Loves to make crafts and art.
• She is a chatter box and makes friends with strangers every day (might not be good thing!)

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a fun filled weekend. I got flowers delivered on Friday from Jason, a dozen Red roses! He also had flowers delivered to Hailee, one pink flower and a teddy bear that hugs the vase. We loved them of course! Hailee had a Valentine's Party at Preschool Friday where they exchanged cards and candy. Saturday we went to Green Canyon Hot Springs and swam for the day. We met our friends there and Hailee brought her friend Olivia. It was a nice day to spend as a family. We then dropped the kids of with Grandpa Mike and met our friends for dinner. It was a full day and I was ready to go home by the end. Hope everyone had a nice day with their Valentine!

The New Cat!

This is a picture of our new cat that I previously posted about getting declawed, vacinated, and de-manhooded. He is a sweet natured cat who loves Hailee. He follows her around everywhere and lets her put him in a little play cat bed and cover him with a blanket. I did not plan on getting another cat but I am a bleeding heart. The cat showed up when it was a kitten hungry and so we fed it for a couple of days. It then went away to our relief. It showed up again a little bit after Christmas. It has never left. Hailee picked the name Fluffy of course! No more pets after this. Hailee was looking at fish at Walmart and I was thinking no way in Hades.

My crazy husband!

My crazy husband wants me to go on this week long "riding" vacation through Utah. He wants to go to serveral sand dunes and areas. As you can see from the above picture I am afraid for my life. If I was in the Razor at this time I would be yelling and smacking his arm I can tell you that! Pray for me!!

Busy Tuesdays!

Today is my busy day. I race to work and try to get here at 9:00. Then I work until 2:20 and then take Hailee to dance. She is in a Tap/Ballet combo class in Shelley. She likes it and she seems to look forward to it every week. In the above pic is Hailee and her friend Harley in dance class. After dance class we run over to Ta Vaci which is a singing lesson/group. She loves this a lot. She had a Christmas recital last December and they are working on new songs. She goes around the house singing "Come on do the locomotion with me". After I drop her off at singing I go back to work for an hour and then go pick her up.

Today we have to go pick up our new cat Fluffy ( any guesses who named the cat) from the vet. We got him declawed, de-manhooded, and vacinated. Hopefully he will still like us when we go to the Vet.

First Post

Well, It seems like every body and their dog has a blog these days. So I figured I would conform to peer pressure and jump on the band wagon. I am not good at taking pictures and I forget my camera all the time so maybe this will help me be more proactive in taking them. Nothing to exciting going on. We just tag-teamed each other getting sick and it is my turn! I am going to upload more photos this week and try to do a year 2008 in review. Wish me luck.
